UNR Fall 2024 Bus Trip Information
***For those further outside of the Sacramento area, consider making a request for a special event if you want to bring a large group of students on your own here: https://admissions.unr.edu/register/specialeventrequest. If you have questions about special event requests, bus trips, or anything else, please let me know***
Student bus trips are free and offered to seniors who have already applied and admissible, prospective junior students first come first serve until the bus is full. These are student only bus trips and, therefore, family members are asked to stay behind. If family members are interested in visiting, please direct them to schedule a tour with their student at www.unr.edu/visit. Of note, these bus trips are a means of transportation to UNR’s Nevada Bound program. Families can always sign up for a Nevada Bound on their own time outside of the bus trips I offer but I do not offer transportation to every date due to limitations on budget.
Each bus sign up will have the below notice. Since our application is free and easy to fill out at www.unr.edu/apply, our policy is that seniors must have a completed application on file before requesting to attend a bus trip. Juniors will be prompted to attach an unofficial transcript so I can confirm their admissions eligibility since they can’t yet apply. Students can sign up for the bus trips below. Registration links and QR codes are also in the attached flyer per date.
Fall 2024 Application Updates
- WUE and Pack Exchange (PEP) are the same requirements as last year:
- WUE and PEP students can stack the Presidential Scholarship and National Merit on top but no other scholarships. If a student doesn’t qualify for neither WUE OR PEP, they could technically get any of the scholarships on the attached matrix but qualifying for WUE and the Presidential or National Merit is the BEST way to save money.
